📢 Exciting Youth Empowerment Sensitisation at Saint Patrick’s College, Asaba!

Public Health Impact Research Centre in collaboration with Beracharh Community Clinic organised a Youth Empowerment Sensitisation at Saint Patrick’s College, Asaba on 28th May 2025 to commemorate:

▪International Day of Families – 15th May 2025

▪International Day of the Boy Child – 16th May 2025

▪Global day of Parents – 1 June 2025 🏵

Michael Dibor and Scholarstica Ighorodje, who represented both organisations were privileged to speak to the brilliant students of Saint Patrick’s College, Asaba, on the theme ”Do Not Be Idle!” 🎯

Practical ways for the boys to stay productive during their long vacation –  from digital skills (coding, graphic design, photography), to vocational training (barbing, catering, soap making), and even farming were shared. 💡

The speakers emphasized how having a valuable skill can open doors to new opportunities, internships, and even entrepreneurship. The students were urged to talk to their parents or guardians about finding a skill that they are  passionate about and making a plan to develop it. 🌈

The energy was electric! 🔥 The students were engaged, asked great questions, and left motivated to turn their free time into growth opportunities. 💫

A big thank you to the school for hosting us, and to the students for their enthusiasm. The future is bright when young minds are empowered! 🌟
