MWAN Kaduna state branch commemorated the menstrual hygiene day at the MWAN adopted health facility, PHC T/wada, Zaria.
Health talk was given by Dr Aminatu Umar (Makarfi) on menstruation, menstrual hygiene and the use of menstrual cups in Hausa. A video clip and demonstration on the use, insertion, removal and care of the reusable menstrual cups were done. Presentation and distributions of the reusable menstrual cups donated by PROMISE CUPS.
Questions and answers session was taken including questions from the PHC workers
We appreciate our Madam National President: Dr Mininim Oseji as this wouldn’t have been possible without her as she was the pioneer for these valuable donations, also to the YDF Coordinator: Dr Evo Esievoadje for considering MWAN Kaduna state worthy of receiving these donations and Promise cups for providing this great opportunity for our women.
